Manon Garrouste joined the RITM and Université Paris-Saclay in September 2024 as a full Professor of Economics.
Manon graduated from ENSAE and Université Paris 1 and completed her Ph.D. at Crest in 2015. She was previously an Associate Professor at the University of Lille. She is also affiliated with the Institut des Politiques Publiques.
Her research spans the economics of education, urban economics, and public policy evaluation. She investigates the link between school track choices, peer effects, and social inequalities in education trajectories.
She has been awarded an ANR research grant to examine the influence of the local social environment on schooling decisions.
