The child’s voice in the market economy

 
Valérie NICOLAS-HEMAR was invited at the conference “Les Paroles de l’enfant” (The Child’s Voices) on February 27th at L’Ecole des Avocats du Grand Est in Strasbourg to talk about the child’s voice in the market economy.
This conference was organized by the Centre for Fundamental Rights and Private Law of the University of Strasbourg and THEMIS, an association dedicated to children’s rights and legal advisory for minors. Drawing on the Convention on the Rights of the Child (United Nations, 1989), this conference brought childhood experts together to figure out how to respect children’s rights and voices in many areas of their life. The French children’s Defender of Right, Geneviève Avenard, took part in the conference to deal with the protection of children’s rights in our country.
